viktig å ta vare på (translates to important to take care of) is a personal project and a processing of grief. The purpose is to shine a light on how we as a society still have a long way to go when it comes to more transparency and openness around mental health, especially with regard to young people and young men. The project is initiated by Leonie, who lost her partner Eivind to suicide in the spring of 2023.

On the caps, viktig å ta vare på is embroidered in Eivind's handwriting. A phrase with several meanings: it’s important to take care of each other, yourself, and those on the margins of society, to name a few. Profits from the sale will be donated to Youth Mental Health Norway, an independent organization that works for an increased transparency around mental health and to better mental health services for children and young people.

The caps come in light beige and navy, and are produced by the independent, Oslo-based printing company 10/10. They can be ordered on 10/10's website to be picked up at their location in Nedre Vaskegang 2 in Oslo, or to be shipped within Norway or internationally.
